First Seminar for students of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina
MEDIA SELF-REGULATION AND PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF THE LAWS ON PROTECTION AGAINST DEFAMATION IN B&H

The Press Council in Bosnia-Herzegovina is organizing the First Seminar for students of Law Faculties in B&H on practical application of the Laws on Protection Against Defamation in B&H and media legislation, in Sarajevo, from 8th till 9th of December 2009.
The intention of the Press Council in Bosnia-Herzegovina is to gather students from the law faculties from Bosnia and Herzegovina in useful and educational program, in order to gain additional knowledge on relevant laws relating to media, as well as on professional rules of reporting which media apply in everyday work, necessary to know due to better practical application of the Law on Protection against Defamation.
Participants of this Seminar are students of law from Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar and Bihac. Lectures are Mr Mehmed Halilovic, FB&H Deputy Ombudsman for Media, Mr Mladen Srdic, FB&H Supreme Court Judge, Ms Nada Dalipagic, Lawyer and Member of the Complaints Commission of the Press Council in B&H and Ms Ljiljana Zurovac, Executive Director of the Press Council in B&H.
