WINTER SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS OF JOURNALISM IN B&H
Sarajevo, 14-19 December 2009
The Press Council in Bosnia-Herzegovina is organizing, again, the School of Ethics for Students of Journalism from four faculties in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Mostar, Tuzla, Banja Luka and Sarajevo. The School will take place in Sarajevo, from 14th till 19th December 2009.
After two successfully organized Schools of media ethics in year 2008, Summer School held on Ilidza from 2nd till 5th of September 2008, and Winter School held in Neum, from 3rd till 7th of December 2008, the Press Council in B&H is gathering again students from B&H for good socializing and learning. The objective of this education is introduction of future journalists on ethical standards of journalism and self-regulation of media, as the base of free and professional journalistic reporting.
Apart from theoretical part, students will have opportunity to learn on practical examples of breach of the journalistic Code, from domestic and foreign practice. Lecturers will be members of the Pres Council, journalists and editors from BH print media, FB&H Ombudsman for media and colleagues from German and Belgium Press Council.
Organization of this School enabled by the German Embassy in B&H and NED– National Endowment for Democracy.
